Why attend GovCamp Cymru

GovCamp Cymru is a free, attendee-led unconference for anyone who cares about improving public services in Wales.

Some people come back to GovCamp Cymru year after year. Others will be joining us for the first time.

Whether you’re a familiar face or completely new to GovCamp, you’re equally welcome.

You don’t need to know how an unconference works, have anything prepared or know anyone else in the room.

It’s your chance to:

shape the agenda – bring the questions, ideas and challenges you want to explore
leave hierarchy at the door – GovCamp brings everyone together on the same level. Leaders can listen to and connect with people doing the work, practitioners can talk directly with decision-makers, and everyone can learn from each other
meet people you might not normally meet – talk to people from different roles, organisations and sectors, break down silos and make new connections
learn from each other – hear what others are trying, what’s working and what they’ve learned along the way
take new ideas back to work – come away with different perspectives, practical ideas and connections that can help you make things better
